The QR Code module checks the number of saved points against the qr_codes_limit supplied by the company license before opening the new-point editor.
What is this option for?
Use this to understand why Add no longer opens the form after a number of points have been configured.
Before you begin
- The QR Code module is visible.
- The company license exposes a QR-point limit.
Understanding the controls
- Add
- Requests a new QR attendance point.
- Current Count
- Number of saved rows loaded in the QR list.
- QR Limit
- Maximum count allowed by the license.
Step-by-step instructions
- Open QR Code and review existing point rows.
- Click Add when you need a new display.
- If a capacity warning appears, read the current and maximum counts.
- Inspect whether an existing point already serves the intended location.
- Consider deactivating an unused point only for operational reasons; deactivation may not reduce the saved count.
- Open License to inspect the enabled features.
- Request an appropriate license increase if more distinct QR points are needed.
What happens next?
The frontend prevents the create route when the current count has reached the permitted limit.
Important notes
- A disabled point still exists and may count toward the saved-point limit.
- Do not create duplicate points simply to generate another link for the same screen.
