How to Pre-Authorize a Biometric Tablet

A biometric tablet is pre-authorized in ATS Cloud with the pairing code displayed by its own setup application. In this document you will learn how to pre-authorize a biometric tablet in Attendico ATS Cloud.

What is this feature for?

This step registers the device administratively, but does not enroll employee faces or perform biometric attendance.

Prerequisites

• Devices feature enabled.
• Read the real pairing code from the tablet.

Device Type

Biometric Tablet.

Name

Descriptive device label.

Pairing Code

Required value shown on the tablet.

Location

Optional installation context.

Step-by-step instructions

1. Open Devices and select Add Biometric.
2. Enter a descriptive name.
3. Enter the pairing code from the tablet screen.
4. Optionally provide location and address.
5. Click Add Device.
6. Find the tablet in the Biometric filter.
7. Review the Waiting Pairing or Connected state.

Expected result

The device becomes an ATS Cloud registration awaiting or reflecting tablet-side pairing.

Important notes

• Face enrollment is not part of this procedure.
