In this document, we will explore how the administration modules work in ATS Cloud and how Attendico manages workers, schedules, attendance and devices. ATS Cloud is the administration interface of Attendico. It brings together employee profiles, working-time definitions, shift schedules, attendance records, supported clock-in locations, devices, reports and administrator access.
What is this feature used for?
Use ATS Cloud to configure how attendance is expected to work before employees start recording time. A worker profile alone is not a complete setup: the worker must belong to a shift group and have a current shift. Clock-in methods such as terminals, QR and geolocation are configured in their own modules.
Before you begin
- An active ATS Cloud account with permissions for the relevant administration modules.
- The modules visible to you can depend on the enabled license features.
Options and fields explained
- Shifts and Groups
- Create the groups and shifts that define expected working time.
- Workers
- Create employee profiles and assign them to a group and a shift.
- Planner
- Inspect scheduled work, manage manual schedules, exceptions and changes.
- Work Time Attendance
- Review recorded check-ins and check-outs and add controlled manual records.
- Geolocation, QR Code and Devices
- Manage the respective supported attendance methods.
- License and Settings
- Review enabled features and configure notification delivery.
Step-by-step procedure
- Sign in to ATS Cloud.
- Begin with Shifts and Groups: create a group and at least one shift.
- Open Workers and add a worker to the existing group and shift.
- Use Planner to inspect the resulting schedule.
- Set up any needed attendance devices or attendance points.
- Review incoming records in Work Time Attendance.
What happens after saving?
Once the foundation is configured, ATS Cloud can relate employee events to their expected shifts. The system’s different modules are connected; changing a shift or a worker assignment can affect future scheduling.
Important notes and common mistakes
- This guide covers the ATS Cloud web administration only. Physical terminal use, the employee mobile application and the Face Recognition application have separate operating procedures.
- Do not assume a feature is available just because it appears in another Attendico installation: license and user permissions apply.
