Planner can display a selected From/To period and includes previous-month, current-month and next-month controls. These affect the displayed schedule rather than employee records.
What is this option for?
Use the date controls to review past planning decisions, current staffing or upcoming rotation boundaries.
Before you begin
- At least one shift group exists.
- The relevant employees and shifts must have been configured to show meaningful assignments.
Understanding the controls
- From / To
- Manual dates for the displayed planning range.
- Show
- Reloads the selected range.
- Previous / Next Month
- Moves the date window.
- Today
- Returns the period to the current month.
- Group Tabs
- Select which group to display.
Step-by-step instructions
- Open Planner.
- Select the appropriate group tab.
- Read the currently selected From and To dates.
- For a custom interval, change these dates and select Show.
- Use the previous-month arrow to inspect an earlier period.
- Use the next-month arrow to review a future period.
- Select Today to return to the current month.
- Verify the date rows and group before interpreting the schedule.
- For a specific day’s change, use the assignment controls rather than the date-navigation buttons.
What happens next?
The timetable refreshes for the chosen group and date period.
Important notes
- Date navigation does not itself create a manual plan.
- An empty group or unplanned manual schedule may not show the assignments you expected.
