The Business Travel detail page has a Recalculate action that requests a new route calculation from the server using already stored trip locations. In this document you will learn how to recalculate a Business Travel route without editing the address, using previously saved trip locations in Attendico.
What is this option for?
Use this when a saved trip is ready for calculation or route information should be refreshed without changing the visited address.
Before you begin
- Open a saved trip in Business Travel Details.
- The trip is not OPEN or PROCESSING, and the required start/finish coordinates are available.
Understanding the controls
- Recalculate
- Requests a route calculation for the stored trip.
- Save and Recalculate
- Saves changed address/round-trip settings before calculating.
- Processing
- The system has not completed calculation.
- Error
- The calculation failed; details may help locate the cause.
Step-by-step instructions
- Open Business Travel and select the required month.
- Choose Details for the trip.
- Inspect the displayed start and end locations.
- Check whether Recalculate is enabled.
- If the stored location data is already correct, click Recalculate without editing the address.
- Wait for the result or processing notice.
- Review the updated estimated duration and distance.
- If an error appears, check whether location information is missing or invalid before retrying.
What happens next?
The backend is asked to recompute the route; the page reloads the trip information afterward.
Important notes
- Recalculate can be disabled for OPEN or PROCESSING trips or when route coordinates are missing.
- A fresh estimate is still an estimate, not an actual recorded route.
