In this document you will learn how to identify the scan method and status of an attendance record in ATS Cloud, separately from the worker’s planned shift. Attendance records include a status and, when available, a scan method that indicates how an event was registered. These are separate from the employee’s planned shift.
What is this option for?
Use them to distinguish manual entries and events coming from supported NFC, QR, geolocation or biometric workflows when investigating discrepancies.
Before you begin

- At least one attendance record exists for the selected period.
Understanding the controls
