In this document you will learn how to edit a qr point address and copy its in Attendico ATS Cloud. A saved QR point can carry optional location/address information and a public browser link. Copying the link shares the live rotating display, not a screenshot of a particular token.
What is this option for?
Use this when moving the physical display or giving its URL to another authorized screen operator.
Before you begin
- Create and save the QR point first.
- Have access to the QR Code module.
Understanding the controls
- Location Address
- Optional configured address.
- Public Link
- URL derived from the saved public point key.
- Copy
- Copies the URL to the clipboard.
- Odpri
- Launches the URL in a new tab.
Step-by-step instructions
- Open QR Code and find the intended point.
- Choose Edit to inspect its Name, Active and address fields.
- Correct the location address when needed.
- Click Save and reopen the saved point.
- Find Public Link.
- Click Copy to place the URL on the clipboard.
- Alternatively click Open to check the display in a browser.
- Use the copied link on the intended workplace screen and verify that it shows a rotating code.
What happens next?
The link points to the configured QR point’s public display.
Important notes
- A copied public link is not an employee login credential.
- Because the link opens the public display, share it only through appropriate operational channels.
