How to Enter a Manual Attendance Record

Manual attendance entries let an administrator enter verified work times when an expected clock-in or check-out was not captured by a device. In this document you will learn how to enter a manual attendance record in Attendico ATS Cloud.

What is this feature for?

This feature is for exceptional corrections. It does not replace the worker’s shift assignment or justify inventing timestamps.

Prerequisites

  • Create the worker and assign a valid group and shift first.
  • Know the actual verified check-in time and, if applicable, check-out.

Options and fields explained

Worker
Employee to whom the record belongs.
Check-in
Mandatory start timestamp.
Check-out
Optional; leaving it empty creates an open record.
Break Start / End
Optional pair that must be entered together.
Note
Administrative explanation.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Open Work Time Attendance.
  2. Click Add Manual Record.
  3. Select the correct worker.
  4. Enter the actual check-in date and time.
  5. Enter check-out if known; otherwise leave it empty.
  6. If a break occurred, enter both start and end times.
  7. Provide a note explaining the manual addition.
  8. Save the record and review its status in the register.

Expected result

A new attendance entry is saved for the selected worker, and remains open if check-out is absent.

Important notes

  • Do not fabricate attendance times.
  • Ensure any entered break has both timestamps.
