It is available for groups configured with Manual Planning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is this feature used for?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Use it for non-standard rosters, irregular teams and employee-specific sequences that should not be generated automatically. A date can be assigned to a particular shift or marked as Day Off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Before you begin<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Create a group with Manual Planning enabled.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Save shifts in the group.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add workers to that group.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open Planner for a date range within the allowed interval.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Options and fields explained<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<dl>\n<dt><strong>From \/ To<\/strong><\/dt>\n<dd>Beginning and end of the visible planning period.<\/dd>\n<dt><strong>Plan Rotation<\/strong><\/dt>\n<dd>Opens the date-by-date assignment editor.<\/dd>\n<dt><strong>Apply to All<\/strong><\/dt>\n<dd>Applies one selected choice across all visible days.<\/dd>\n<dt><strong>Copy Previous Day<\/strong><\/dt>\n<dd>Copies the preceding day&#8217;s shift choice.<\/dd>\n<dt><strong>Day Off<\/strong><\/dt>\n<dd>Marks a date without an assigned shift.<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step-by-step procedure<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open Planner and select the manually planned group.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose the From and To dates, then click Show.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click Plan Rotation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the worker whose schedule you want to enter.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For each date, choose one of the group&#8217;s shifts or Day Off.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use Copy Previous Day for repeated assignments or Apply to All only if the same choice is suitable for the entire visible period.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review every date carefully; changing a set of days can overwrite intended exceptions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click Save.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reopen the relevant date range to confirm the planned assignments.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What happens after saving?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Saved manual assignments are reflected in the Planner grid for the chosen worker and dates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Important notes and common mistakes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Workers marked Always Keep This Shift are excluded from date-by-date manual planning and generated using their fixed shift.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In this document you will learn how to manually plan a worker&#8217;s shifts in Attendico ATS Cloud Planner, assign shifts or days off to specific dates, and save manual schedules.Manual scheduling lets an administrator decide which shift a worker works on each individual date.
