Multiple cards are allowed, but each UID can belong to only one worker. In this document you will learn how to add, disable or remove a worker&#8217;s NFC card in Attendico ATS Cloud and manage unique card identifiers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Purpose and explanation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Use this section when issuing a new card, deactivating an old one or removing a lost credential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Before you begin<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The employee must already be saved.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The card&#8217;s genuine UID must be available.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Options explained<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<dl>\n<dt><strong>UID<\/strong><\/dt>\n<dd>Globally unique hexadecimal identifier.<\/dd>\n<dt><strong>Label<\/strong><\/dt>\n<dd>Optional administrative description.<\/dd>\n<dt><strong>Active<\/strong><\/dt>\n<dd>Controls whether a saved card is enabled.<\/dd>\n<dt><strong>Save and Delete<\/strong><\/dt>\n<dd>Maintain or remove a saved card record.<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step-by-step instructions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open Workers and select an existing worker.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scroll to Physical NFC Cards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To add a card, enter UID and optional label, then click Add Card.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Verify the added UID appears in the list.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To disable a card, clear its Active checkbox and click the row Save button.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To correct a label or UID, edit the row and click Save.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To remove a card, click the row Delete button.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Verify the remaining cards and states.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Expected result<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The worker&#8217;s NFC credential list reflects the saved changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Important notes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A UID assigned to another worker cannot be reused simultaneously.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A lost credential should be disabled or removed according to company policy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NFC card records connect physical card identifiers to a saved worker.
