In this document you will learn how to edit or deactivate an existing qr point in Attendico ATS Cloud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Purpose and explanation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Editing the saved point is preferable to creating multiple duplicate public screens for the same workplace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Before you begin<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A saved QR Attendance Point.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Administrative access to the QR Code module.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Options explained<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<dl>\n<dt><strong>Name<\/strong><\/dt>\n<dd>Display point identity.<\/dd>\n<dt><strong>Location Address<\/strong><\/dt>\n<dd>Optional descriptive placement.<\/dd>\n<dt><strong>Active<\/strong><\/dt>\n<dd>Enables or disables the QR point.<\/dd>\n<dt><strong>Public Link<\/strong><\/dt>\n<dd>Address used by the public display.<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step-by-step instructions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open QR Code.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the relevant point or its edit icon.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review its Name, Location and Active switch.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Update the required fields.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click Save.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Return to the list and verify the displayed status.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If the point has a display in use, check that its browser page reflects the intended configuration.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Expected result<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The existing point is updated without creating a new point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Important notes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you disable a point, do not expect it to remain available for active scanning.<\/li>\n<\/ul>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A QR Attendance Point may need its name, location or active state updated as the workplace changes.
