It is separate from choosing how frequently the rotation moves. In this document you will learn how to configure the order of rotating shifts in Attendico ATS Cloud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Purpose and explanation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Use this when a group has several shifts and the required sequence differs from the order in which they were created.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Before you begin<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A saved group with at least two shifts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manual Planning disabled and automatic rotation enabled.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Options explained<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<dl>\n<dt><strong>Shift Rotation Order<\/strong><\/dt>\n<dd>The ordered list of shift IDs.<\/dd>\n<dt><strong>Up \/ Down Arrows<\/strong><\/dt>\n<dd>Moves a shift earlier or later in the rotation.<\/dd>\n<dt><strong>Current Shift<\/strong><\/dt>\n<dd>Worker-specific starting position in the sequence.<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step-by-step instructions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open Shifts and Groups and select the saved rotating group.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Find Shift Rotation Order under the enabled Rotating Group controls.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review each shift&#8217;s name, code and working times.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use the arrow controls to reorder the entries.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure the beginning and end of the cycle match the desired sequence.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click Save.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open Planner and review several successive rotations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If one worker starts at a different point, check Current Shift in that worker&#8217;s profile.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Expected result<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The group rotation uses the newly saved shift order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Important notes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Changing order may affect future assignments of multiple workers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Shift Rotation Order determines which saved shift comes next in an automatically rotating group.
