A fixed device may appear as waiting for pairing after being registered. The Devices page also shows connected or disabled states and the last recorded contact time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is this option for?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Use this to distinguish creation of a registry entry from a completed device-side setup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Before you begin<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A terminal or biometric tablet has been added in ATS Cloud.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You know its serial \/ Terminal ID or biometric pairing code.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Understanding the controls<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<dl>\n<dt><strong>Waiting Pairing<\/strong><\/dt>\n<dd>The device has been registered but is not yet marked connected.<\/dd>\n<dt><strong>Connected<\/strong><\/dt>\n<dd>The list shows a connected state.<\/dd>\n<dt><strong>Disabled<\/strong><\/dt>\n<dd>The device is administratively disabled.<\/dd>\n<dt><strong>Last Seen<\/strong><\/dt>\n<dd>Latest contact time available to the server.<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step-by-step instructions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open Devices and choose Terminals or Biometric.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Find the intended device by Name and Identity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Read the Status column.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For Waiting Pairing, confirm that the original Terminal ID or pairing code was entered correctly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check Last Seen where available.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If a name or address is incorrect, choose Edit and correct those administrative details.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do not repeatedly create duplicate registrations for one device.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete the device-side setup using the dedicated terminal or Face Recognition application instructions.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What happens next?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The device list distinguishes administrative registration from operational connection status.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A fixed device may appear as waiting for pairing after being registered.
